Commonwealth Games Cycling – Road Race
August 7 @ 12:00 am

Surprisingly tactical, and unsurprisingly exhausting, road race cycling is a gripping sport. This road cycling discipline uses public routes as standard, so fans line road race routes whenever possible, and with good reason – road races are nail-biting, lung-busting affairs which reward the intimacy of the viewing experience. At the Commonwealth Games, the men’s road race has featured since 1938, and the women’s since 1990.
At Birmingham 2022, the road races will take place in the historic town of Warwick, with both men and women covering more than 100 km in pursuit of a place on the podium.
