Commonwealth Games Squash

July 29 @ 12:00 am

A Squash Ball and a Squash Racket

Blink and you’ll miss it! Squash is one of the fastest games out there, a frantic back-and-forth racquet sport which sees a small ball slammed against a wall, shared by opposing players. A Commonwealth Games sport since 1998, squash is now a required part of Games programmes, and boasts 5 medal competitions.

A squash ball can be hit at hundreds of miles an hour, just one of the reasons it’s so gripping to watch. This speed, coupled with players’ agility, commitment and stamina, means squash has to be seen to be believed.
