Community Raceday at Kempton Park Racecourse

Afternoon jump racing! Join us for an afternoon of jump racing plus the opportunity to experience what Kempton park has to offer the local community. we’ve been at the heart of Sunbury-on-Thames since July 1878 when businessman S.H. Hyde saw 400 acres of land ‘for sale or lease’ between Hampton court and Sunbury on Thames and decided this would be the perfect location for a racecourse. We’ve seen some change in our 145 year history, from royal visits and record 55,000 strong crowds in 1955 to the redevelopment of the state of the art, floodlit all weather track in 2006 – we’ve moved with the times and now is the time to put ourselves firmly back in the community.
