Welcome to the 2024 Paris Olympics Cycling Track Qualifying, 1st Round & Finals (Women and Men) at the Velodrome National de Saint Quentin! This is sure to be an exciting event as some of the world’s best cyclists compete for gold.
The qualifying round will start at 8am on August 5th with the men’s competition. The riders will have one lap to qualify for the next round. Those who make it through will proceed to the first round of racing where they will race four laps, with a sprint every two laps. Afterward, only eight riders will move on to the final round.
The women’s competition will begin at 12pm, with a similar format as the men’s competition. The first round will consist of four laps and a sprint every two laps. Eight riders from this round will move on to the final race where they too will have four laps and a sprint every two laps. At 3:30pm, we will find out who our champions are!
