Temple Stakes at Haydock Park Racecourse

Join us for an action-packed day of Flat racing at Haydock Park, in which the sprinters take centre stage, on Saturday 21st May 2022!
The line-up is headlined by the Group Two Temple Stakes over five furlongs, a popular starting point for some of the top speedsters in training each season.
Recent horses to take the spoils include Battaash (2017 and 2018), Sole Power (2011) and Kingsgate Native (2010 and 2013) and it’s not uncommon to see the winner return for the Group One Sprint Cup in September.
Also on the card is the Group Two Sandy Lane Stakes for three year olds, which is seen as a key trial for the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot, while each of the five supporting handicaps are renowned for producing strong form.
