2024 TISSOT UCI TRACK WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS – AFTERNOON/EARLY SESSION

Welcome to the 2024 TISSOT UCI Track World Championships! This afternoon/early session will take place on October 16th, 2024 at the Olympic Velodrome in Berlin, Germany. The world’s best track cyclists will compete in the Omnium, Team Sprint, and Keirin events.
The Omnium is a multi-discipline event where riders compete in six different events over two days. It is considered one of the toughest events in cycling and requires riders to have a combination of endurance, speed, and tactics.
The Team Sprint is a fast-paced relay event where teams of three riders race against each other on a 250m track. Riders must be well-coordinated and have excellent acceleration to be successful.
The Keirin is an exciting race that features up to eight riders competing over 2km on a velodrome track. Riders must stay behind a motorized pacer until it pulls off with two laps remaining, then they can sprint for the finish line!
This session promises to be an exciting one as the world’s best track cyclists battle for gold! Come cheer them on as they go for glory!
