The Longines Balve Optimum 2024 is an international equestrian event that is sure to be one of the most thrilling competitions of the year. Taking place on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at the beautiful Balve International Horse Park in Germany, this exciting event will bring together some of the world’s best show jumping and dressage riders for a day of fierce competition.
The day will start with a spectacular opening ceremony, where riders will parade into the arena while traditional music plays. Then, it’s time for the show jumping competition to begin. Riders will take turns jumping over increasingly difficult courses, competing against each other to try and get the highest score possible. The top three competitors in this event will move on to the Grand Prix Final later that evening.
Afterwards, it’s time for dressage – a stunning display of grace and athleticism as horses and their riders perform intricate choreographed movements in perfect unison. Riders will be judged on their accuracy and skill as they perform tests like piaffe and passage, or their own unique freestyle routine. Once again, only the top three competitors will move on to compete in the Grand Prix Final later that night.
