Tour de Suisse Men – Start Locarno at Start – Locarno

Welcome to the Tour de Suisse Men, one of the most prestigious cycling events in the world! This year, we are thrilled to announce that our race will begin and end in the beautiful city of Locarno. On June 14th, 2024, cyclists from all over the globe will gather at the starting line in Locarno to compete in this challenging and exhilarating race.
As the riders take off from Start – Locarno, they will be met with stunning views of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding mountains. The route will take them through picturesque Swiss towns and villages, showcasing the country’s natural beauty and rich culture.
The first leg of the race will cover a distance of 160 kilometers, with several climbs and descents that will test the riders’ endurance and skills. They will pass through iconic landmarks such as Bellinzona Castle before reaching their first checkpoint in Airolo.
From there, they will continue on to tackle some of Switzerland’s most famous mountain passes, including Gotthard Pass and Furka Pass. These grueling climbs will push the riders to their limits as they battle for position on narrow roads with breathtaking views.
As they make their way back towards Locarno for the final stretch, the competition will heat up
